The challenge of the residence in Neo Iraklio renovation, was to redesign completely and expand an existing residence. In spite of the difficulties, the renovation resulted in a contemporary residential building. Therefore, the two-storey house meets the needs of a modern family. The task was even more compelling as the preservation of overall building outline was obligatory. On the other hand, the technical restrictions should not cut down on our conceptual approach and vision for the project as a whole. A hospitable minimalistic approach gave the house its new identity formed by clear volumes and a welcoming atmosphere.
