The project concerns the complete renovation of an existing apartment in Glyfada. The penthouse is on the top floor of an apartment building of the 80’s. The main goal of the renovation design was to highlight the view to the sea. In order to do so, the new openings are larger. In addition, the layout of the spaces is different so as to orient them properly towards the view. The central core of the everyday life develops within a single living room – dining room – kitchen.  Therefore, turning the interest to the view with every possible way, with the proper management of the levels and the viewing angles was crucial. The individual functional units are organized in separate spaces defined by constructions or materials that characterize the spaces. For example the bookcase from sheet metal, the wood paneling in the private spaces, the marble cladding constructions in the living rooms, etc.
